Better late than never — we’re coming to you fresh off a trip to Pittsburgh (more on that next month), where we ended February and kicked off March. Sarah got her dad tickets to see Journey on their farewell tour for Christmas, and Pittsburgh ended up being the perfect halfway point between New Jersey and Minnesota. But we’ll save that story for the March post. Let’s rewind…
February is, without question, the biggest month on the Harris family calendar. Between the two of us, we’re packing in:
- 🎂 Michael’s birthday (2/2)
- 🎂 Sarah’s birthday (2/9)
- 💛 Our 10-year dating anniversary — yes, ten years.
And somehow, we still managed to start the month on the back foot. Sarah was in Belgium for work and, unfortunately, came home with an extra souvenir on top of some great chocolate. She got sick while traveling and brought it home to the rest of us. Michael got off relatively easy, but Harvey — who hasn’t yet mastered the art of clearing congestion — was pretty miserable for about a week and a half. It was a tough stretch for the little guy.
On the baby front, Sarah is doing well as we enter the third trimester and get ready to welcome Baby Harris #2 in May. It’s hard to believe how quickly it’s gone.
Oh, and New Jersey decided to remind us that it is, in fact, still winter. After a few unusually mild recent years, it turns out we’re a little out of practice with the cold and snow.
But here’s the good stuff:
- 🎉 Joint birthday celebration with Michael’s parents and Uncle Thewz.
- 🍽️ 10-year dating anniversary dinner — a very nice night out.
- ⛄ Harvey’s first snowman. Photos below.
- 💈Harvey got a haircut. He was overdue and it turned out great.
It was a short month with big moments. On to March!
