    March was a good one!

Another fast month — but we packed a lot in.

Our Christmas gift to Sarah’s dad Jeff was tickets to the Journey farewell tour in Pittsburgh, which made for a perfect halfway meeting point for everyone. We turned it into a full weekend: Harvey experienced his first NHL game (Penguins vs. Vegas Golden Knights), we explored the city, and Sarah and I got our belated birthday dinner. Our cousin Miranda, who’s studying at the University of Pittsburgh, graciously babysat Harvey while we were at the concert — we forgot to take a picture, naturally, but it was great to see her.

The rest of the month filled up fast:

    • Sarah completed her last work trip before baby #2 — a visit to Charleston, SC.
    • We celebrated our neighbor’s 2nd birthday at an adventure park. Harvey had a blast and came home with a cold.
    • We watched the Cranford St. Patrick’s Day Parade a couple of blocks from our house.
    • Harvey turned 2. We’re still not sure how that happened. We had a wonderful day at home with family, incredible gifts, and a cake from Cake Artist Cafe here in Cranford that absolutely delivered.
    • Harvey had an impromptu playdate with his swim friend Rory.
    • All of Sarah’s prenatal appointments have been going well, and we reconnected with our doula — also named Sarah — who was with us for Harvey’s delivery and is excited to be back for round two.

April is somehow looking even busier than March, and we’re trying to squeeze in as much as we can before the baby arrives. Wish us luck! Until next time.
